This delicious Prosecco can’t be labelled as such due to a pinch of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend for colour. This is a soft and quaffable sparkling rosé with light berry and citrus character.

Prosecco is a sparkling wine produced in nine The main grape variety is Glera which produces wines that are light in body, medium acidity and lifted pear and floral notes. This rosé Prosecco is made by blending 15% red Cabernet Sauvignon with 85% Glera.
Producer
Luca Follador and his sisters have taken over from father Vitorrio in the village that gave their family name in the famous Cartizze foothills, the most illustrious area of Prosecco. Many of the wines are made outside of the DOC regulations to allow the use of international grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon in their wines.
Region
Prosecco is a sparkling wine produced in nine provinces spanning the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions. The best quality wines come from Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore, which can only be made in the Treviso province of Veneto on the hills between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene and the smaller Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
Food Pairing
This wine is very fresh and light so can be overpowered by many dishes. Unlike many other wines it is probably better without food. Can work well with cured meats and fresh cheeses like buffalo mozzarella and salads.
